Step 1

  • Scott will send an invitation to input your information into Right Capital

  • This allows you to connect financial accounts and upload important documents to your Right Capital Vault

  • Schedule Next Meeting (60 Minutes)

  • The purpose of this meeting is to develop life, financial and retirement goals
  •  

our first year working together
  • Our first year of working together is important for us to implement everything in your Retirement Blueprint.  Our meetings will include:

    1. Investments + Income
    2. Risk Management
    3. Estate Planning
    4. Tax Analysis + Planning

Semi-Annual Meetings In The Spring + fall
  • After our first 4-6 months of working together, we will transition to two big picture meetings in the spring and fall to discuss any plan updates and recommendations.  

    We typically have our Spring meeting in April/May to discuss your tax returns, and any opportunities we might want to consider.  In the Fall, we meet to discuss any type of open enrollment choices you may have, big picture life updates, and tax planning strategies that need to be implemented before the end of the calendar year.

Quarterly Elevation Services
  • In order to be of most value to you, every quarter we proactively monitor and update different aspects of your financial life.  Here is a sample schedule of what that includes:

    •     January: Annual Action Plan of Financial To-Dos
    • April: Analyze Tax Return To Review + Assess Tax Saving Opportunities
    • July (Every Two Years): Review Estate Plan To Ensure Assets Are Directed Where Intended. 
    • July (Every Two Years): Review Long Term Care Plan And Discuss Any Potential Adjustments
    • October (If Still Working): Create 1 Page Employee Benefits Summary To Determine Any Potential Benefits To Claim
    • October (If Over 65): Review Medicare Enrollment Options And Discuss Potential Changes

Scheduling A meeting
  • I will reach out multiple times throughout the year to offer check ins on certain topics (Tax Return Analysis, Estate Plan review, Risk Management review, etc).

    If you need to speak with me before then, you can do so here: 60 minute meeting and 30 minute meeting
